Description
The KPMG Corporate Intelligence (CI) team is looking for paid Researchers* to start immediately for ongoing Forensic work within the CI sector. Applicants should be able to devote at least 20 hours per week from the KPMG offices in Canary Wharf. Fully flexible working hours are available, and there is scope for Full time hours over the summer holidays. We are specifically looking for linguists.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Search, retrieval and analysis of publically available online information, including commercial and corporate registries, and media and litigation databases;
- Combining the above skills to produce time-critical, relevant and high quality reports.
Essential:
- Fluency in Japanese or Korean with the ability to conduct research and translate accurately;
- Analytical and problem solving skills, and an inquisitive mind;
- Self-motivation and commitment to deliver high quality work within a set timeframe;
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately, and to do so in a confidential manner;
- Excellent written English and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
- Relevant work experience, such as market research, political risk analysis, online research, journalism or any investigative background;
- Strong academic background;
- Good team working skills.
