Our client is embarking on an ambitious drive to ensure that their Engineering function is adopting best in class Tools, Processes and Technologies. The Functional Engagement Team liaise between Individual Business functions & the core PLM Business Change programme. Additionally we are responsible for on-boarding 1000's of individuals into the new solutions & developing projects & Business case.
This role requires a talented individual who will provide complex technical support to the Functional Engagement Team. Working within a large scale business change programme, our goal is to rationalise and improve business tools and processes, and to provide a single source of data. The basis of this is the implementation of the Dassault Systemes suite of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products. This role will identify and manipulate processes and data in order to make it consumable to others.
Key responsibilities:
- To provide technical and analytical support.
- Create, update and maintain data which is consumed daily.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Develop working instructions and guides to use tools and processes.
- Responding to ad hoc issues & requests.
- Create, understand & respond to data driven metrics to address issues.
The successful candidate should possess or have experience of the following:
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new technical solutions and communicate to non-technical individuals.
- Good understanding of SharePoint 2010 and experience of executing changes within the tool.
- Understanding of software development life cycle & delivered IT solutions.
- Confidence to explain high level solutions.
- Strong Business Analytical capability & MS Office Tools, specifically Excel and MS Access.
- Knowledge of VBA required.
- Ability to be able to work within time constraints at short notice.
- Good communication skills across all levels, ability to listen, understand and process.
- Good work-ethic presentation.
