Description
For our global pharmaceutical client we are currently looking for the Senior Web Content Writer to work in Switzerland.Tasks:
• Assume the role of accountable project lead to drive website content development and implementation
• Serve as the lead writer and editor for a range of content material related to IT processes, tools and procedures that support the objective of the website
• Develop understandable storylines and concepts that will appeal to a globally diverse non-technical audience
• Collaborate with different IT functions within client to gain an understanding of the tools, processes and procedures that need to be incorporated into the new website
• Work directly with offshore website designers (ADMD in Poland), provide guidance and direction on how best to transform the content into inspired pieces that maximize conversion messaging
• Lead website design review sessions with peers to propose/defend design deliverables -- be well prepared and professional in convincing peers of site concepts and ideas
• Work closely with the external business partner program manager and his team to develop scripts and storyboards that help communicate compelling stories.
Qualifications:
• 7 to 10 years of experience in writing and editing web content (preferably as a Web Content Developer/Designer)
• Proven track record in developing a website content that requires highly complex and technical solutions to be summarized and explained in a non-technical manner
• Ability to conceptualize original ideas that result in website design simplicity and user friendliness (e.g. simplify messaging through the visualization of diagrams and words)
• A demonstrated background in leading work to develop and implement new websites
• A strong technical aptitude, especially in the areas of network connectivity and application access (e.g. SmartWeb, Citrix, WAN, MPLS)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to accommodate working on a global and virtual team, which will require later afternoon and early evening conference calls with the team in the US (west coast)

• A passionate and outgoing personality that has a self-drive and is also able to work him him/herself
