SAS Consultant with Microsoft BI #
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months initially
Role
Our client is seeking an experienced SAS Consultant with Microsoft BI to work on a project in Brussels, Belgium.
Responsibilities:
- Design efficient technical solutions in collaboration with the functional designers
- Ensure correct rollout and implementation in the different environments
- Quality insurance by detailed testing
- Maintain the quality in an existing technical patrimony and anticipate the impacts of new developments
- Identification and solution of potential problems that arise with technical implementations
- Coaching of (junior) technical designers on technical matters and standards
- Insure the long term quality of the systems in the field of stability, scalability, traceability, flexibility and performance.
Required skills/experience:
- Microsoft BI and MS Office tools experience
- SAS Base - SAS Macro - SAS OLAP Cube Studio
- SAS DI studio - SAS Enterprise Guide + Stored Processes
- SAS Information Map + Web Report Studio - SAS Portal
- SAS Management Console + SAS Visual analytics
- Scheduling principles & techniques (CTRL/M)
- Networking principles, Virtual clients (Citrix/Appv)
- SQL Server, Storage basics
- Functional analysis, Dev Life Cycle
- Insurance process (Life, Non-Life, EB)
Nice to have:
- SAS E-miner/IBM SPSS Modeller/RadipMiner/Knime/R
- Microsoft SSIS/SSRS
- HADOOP
- Datamodelling (via Erwin)
- Functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
- Experience with an offshore factory model
- Leadership qualities, good communication skills
Language
Dutch/French (one fluent, second one basic) and English
Contract
The contract duration is for 12 months initially with likelihood of extension.
