Role: iSeries AS400 Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Contract
The Required skill are as follows:
- The role of the iSeries Developer is to program, test and maintain software applications on the iSeries (AS400).
- Developer assists in the development, improvement, maintenance and documentation of software applications on the IBM iSeries using RPGLE and CLLE.
- Developer should have a very good knowledge on iSeries concepts and programming on Full Free Form RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE and DB2/400
- Development experience in RPG Full Free Form on RDi (iSeries V7R1 version)
- Experienced in working on Interactive, Batch Processing, Reports and multiple interfaces to AS400
- Good experience or exposure to MQ Series and XML
- Able to analyze and research project requirements
- Able to build a deep technical understanding of how the business operates, functions, processes, procedures and current application functionality
- Development of specified solutions in accordance with approved specifications (Write high quality code according to specifications.)
- Excellent analytical, planning and organization/time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Insurance domain experience is very advantage for this role
