Sr Financial Analyst

Looking for someone with advanced/strong excel skills with working knowledge of SharePoint and Databases, inclusive of Access.

Role will include extensive work with project reporting, dashboards, variance analysis etc.

Conducting data discrepancy research and analysis on project financials and status indicators along with working with data repository for project investment information will be key activities in this role.

Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
-
Maintain SharePoint and Access Database of project investment information, including updating information, running reports serving as front line support, granting access

Support quarterly project investment reporting, variance explanations and reconciliations
-
Support analysis and reporting leveraging project investment information in tools to support Budget, Strategic Planning and other reporting and analysis needs
Requirements:

Advanced Excel cells, including pivots, V-lookups, some Visual Basic/macro experience

Financial Analysis experience including quarterly reporting, forecasting and budgeting

Strong PowerPoint and Graphing/Chart skills

Database familiarity, ideally Access
-
Project investments experience, building business cases, tracking project status etc.

Ability to handle uncertainty, ambiguity and rapid change

Good interpersonal skills, including written, PowerPoint and speaking

Self starter, bias for action, able to work on own as needed

Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.

BA in Finance or Accounting required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.
