Our client is urgently looking for a strong Customer Application Specialist with APP-V 5, Windows desktop, Workstation, developer, MSI, Scripting skills, to work on a critical project in Luxembourg.
A successful candidate will have strong skills in:
The application analyst specialist requirements:
. In-depth understanding and experience with Windows desktop and Workstation environments. Experience as technical staff (sysadmin, developer etc.) is an asset. A general understanding of business software architectures based around Windows technology
. Scripting skills (CMD, VBS and PowerShell)
. Very specific APP-V 5 knowledge (client features, sequencing ?): this is key
. Excellent troubleshooting skills (eg the use of process monitor)
. General application packaging skills (MSI)
. Good written and oral communication skills
. The software analyst will communicate in a complex project with business over complex matters. Clear, precise and business-orientated communication skills are key to perform the task correctly.
. The communication skills should be in English (FR and/or NL is an asset.)
. Technical skills: usage of virtual machines, application debugging, determining missing components, determining hardware dependencies
Overall SME skills
. Ability (by experience or motivation to learn) to create work products: installation documentation,
. Ability to support Project Managers in the elaboration of the detailed project schedules
. Able to work in a structured approach.
