Senior Risk System Analyst - RSA Archer - Financial Services
My client who is a leading financial services company based in Manchester seek a Senior Risk System Analyst - RSA Archer to join their team on a 4 month contract.
Role Purpose
Managing risks and implementing robust controls to address those risks can be difficult.
Managing risk and establishing effective controls are at the heart of good governance and sustainable superior business performance. The role needs to specialises in the design, development and implementation of relevant system changes to the RSA Archer Risk Management module.
Areas of Accountability
Support and mentor F3 analyst who currently implements RSA Archer changes.
Design, develop, test, deploy changes on RSA Archer Risk Management system
Support project Holly activities (risk management framework review)
Develop relevant stakeholder relationships to ensure maximum 1st line and 2nd line engagement
Deliver relevant requirements for any 3rd party build.
Knowledge skills and experience
Sufficient practical experience in delivering RSA Archer Risk Management solutions.
Experience managing software application deployments using RSA Archer.
Ability to develop and maintain RSA Archer RCSA software, including requirements gathering, solution design, rapid application development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.
Provides analysis and recommendations for solution analysis, system design and configuration of Archer software tool; Able to develop expertise through training on software platform capabilities and conduct software configuration and testing
Support the team through development, creation and implementation of testing scenarios and use cases within the RSA application
Support implementation of controls through creation of manuals, reports, and/or presentations, using a variety of desktop applications
Broad knowledge of Risk Management in Financial Services, control design, execution and monitoring
Ability to leverage learned technical skills
Apply initiative to evaluate situations and recommend solutions
Strong communication (including report writing), challenging, investigative, influencing and presentational skills with senior management and in formal committee settings.
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritise.
Education to degree level desirable.
Knowledge of relevant financial services regulations, risk management frameworks and risk reporting
