Description
Templeton and Partners are currently searching for an SATCOM Engineer for a long term project based in Belgium.
Key Skills:
- Recent and extensive (at least five years) experience in the area of SATCOM Systems development, desirably in the areas of SATCOM ground systems.
- Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of communication aspects of SATCOM systems;
- Experience in laboratory and field testing of communication systems, especially in the context of acquisition contracts with major external suppliers.
- Knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art technologies, relevant to the work, ie Satellite Systems in SHF SATCOM Ground segments, satellite modems including anti-jamming techniques, modern control techniques, network routing and switching and familiarity with related international/commercial/industrial standards;
- Experience in related areas such as UHF and EHF SATCOM applications is of interest but not essential.
