Support Engineer - Belgium - initially 6 months contract

Position: Support Equipment and environmental Climate Control Engineers (Level 3)

Location: Belgium

Duration: initially 6 months

Rate: depends on experience - to be confirmed

Templeton & Partners is looking for Support Engineer based in Belgium for a client who is in every country you can think of to support this current project from Begium.

The Support Engineer will be involved in following Tasks:

  • Ensure the DCIS platforms and training material are kept up to date with the deployed assets in the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) area;
  • Support DCIS, specifically non-CIS with focus on power and uninterruptible power, CBRN protection NRF tents, air-conditioning units and supporting capabilities and systems. It includes integration of non-CIS with CIS;
  • In coordination with the service managers in NSII will develop, maintain, and update the DCIS Training Material in his/her SME area with and towards the Target Architecture;
  • Align SME area Training Material and Terminology with evolving technology, the
  • Ensure efficiencies of courses across the DCIS Training Framework (Foundation, Deployment, System, and Special Courses);
  • Provide update training to NCISS instructors in the SME area as changes in the DCIS baseline are implemented;
  • Provide update training to the DCM crews who have completed NCISS training and require the uplift to the new baseline, as coordinated by the NCISS DITC;
  • Follow and implement the clients education policies, practices and formats;
  • Adhere to existing the client's security procedures for physical and logical protection of the client's materials.

The required Support Engineer should have following qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in developing and maintaining top quality training in the SME Area;
  • proven experience working with the NRF DCIS architectures and systems used in the SME area and how these integrate across the Service Taxonomy and with non-CIS supporting DCIS;
  • Solid understanding of Services Architectures, across Communication and Core
  • knowledge of the Command Structure, with focus on the Deployed entities
  • involved, and the deploying Service Providers (eg NCISG with the SSG and
  • DNOC);
  • Proven flexibility and agility for keeping abreast with developments in the SME
