Role: iSeries AS400 Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Contract
The Required skill are as follows:
- The role of the iSeries Developer is to program, test and maintain software applications on the iSeries (AS400).
- Developer assists in the development, improvement, maintenance and documentation of software applications on the IBM iSeries using RPGLE and CLLE.
- Developer should have a very good knowledge on iSeries concepts and programming on Full Free Form RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE and DB2/400
- Development experience in RPG Full Free Form on RDi (iSeries V7R1 version)
- Experienced in working on Interactive, Batch Processing, Reports and multiple interfaces to AS400
- Good experience or exposure to MQ Series and XML Able to analyze and research project requirements
- Able to build a deep technical understanding of how the business operates, functions, processes, procedures and current application functionality Development of specified solutions in accordance with approved specifications (Write high quality code according to specifications.) Excellent analytical, planning and organization/time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Insurance domain experience is very advantage for this role
