Description
My client a special purpose machinery manufacturer based in Essex are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer for a 6 month contract.
The engineer will predominantly be based at the client's premises with occasional trips to site expected.
My client is looking to develop a new special purpose machine concept and is looking for someone who can assist with the project from design, to programming of the machine once developed. This opportunity will suit an engineer passionate about control systems who ideally has a background of programming control systems for special purpose machinery.
Key requirements for the position include -
*A logical approach to developing automation software
*A practical electrical/electronic knowledge
Desirable:
*Siemens Programming experience
*Automation Experience
*High Speed Machinery
*Knowledge and experience of servo drives.
