For a 6 months project at our clients' site in Geneva, we are looking for an experienced

Consultant - Financing and Health Technology (3814)

In this role you will support analytical work for Innovative Financing and Health Technology Assessments.

Your Profile:
  • Training in Health Economics
  • Experience in multi-lateral or bilateral health financing institution
  • Experience in working on Health Technology Assessments and Cost-effectiveness
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team setting with people of diverse backgrounds and points of view
  • Previous experience of working on innovative financing mechanisms with country governments and/or health financing institutions is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders including government officials, project implementers, project beneficiaries, among others


About the role:
Coordination activities related to the Transition Readiness Assessment:
  • Work with key internal stakeholders Country Teams, Risk, SIID, to customise the Transition Readiness Assessment to regional foci
  • Work with external stakeholders Pepfar, USAID, World Bank coordinate alignment on innovate financing mechanism in transition planning, and provide inputs where required


Assignments towards the success of implementing the STC policy:
  • Be the focal point for a range of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate, under the guidance of senior Policy Hub management, transition planning with Country Teams
  • Work with the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) towards developing evaluations relevant to monitoring innovating financing mechanisms
  • Support the development for supplementary transition tools such as the Health Systems Dashboard
