Description
Job duties/responsibilities:- Assisting dealers in data on-boarding, implement changes, manage data elements and data standards while interacting with the dealer IT and Marketing teams.
- The incumbent receives work priorities from the Project Manager.
- The data quality analyst works with the Data SME regarding data standards and liaisons with GIS for technical assistance.
- The incumbent will be working with various internal client groups such as DSD's, IT Reps, DICE team and GIS.
- There will be a large amount of collaboration within the team and with other areas of the company.
Skills:
- Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent).
- 5-7 years of experience. SQL experience required - needs to be comfortable writing SQL independently.
- Strong SQL
- Independent thinker, someone who likes to dig in and solve problems, not afraid to make decisions
- Computer or engineering-related 4 year degree and 5-7 years of experience in Data Analysis.
- Written and oral communications skills are very important
- Excel (Pivot tables)
- Oracle experience
- 3 - 5 years experience in data processing IT skills
- Experience working with relational databases such as DB2, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Hadoop
- Proficient at using SQL to analyze data - Experience in analysing and reporting data
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel (pivot tables), Powerpoint
- Good human relation skills to develop a cooperative working relationship with others
- Understanding of the dealer business model, processes and systems
- Team player
- Willingness to travel
- IT, Engineering or Marketing experience
- Familiarity or the ability to learn and understand data management best practices
- Knowledge of business and products
- The ability to translate technical requirements into business requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills.
