Oracle DBA
Stockholm, Sweden
An excellent opportunity for an Oracle DBA to join a large international client in Stockholm, Sweden on a minimum 9 month contract with option to extend. The Oracle DBA is expected to plan, install and configure the product, implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, enforce organizational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies. Infrastructure Specialist: DBA Oracle commerce Middleware competence and or Akamai
The Oracle DBA must have;
. Good understanding of Oracle databases, related utilities and tools
. Good understanding of the underlying operating system
. Good knowledge of the physical database design
. Ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
. Infrastructure Specialist: Oracle commerce, Middleware competence and or Akamai
. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Solid business communication skills both written and verbal, English mandatory plus Dutch preferred but not essential. ITIL certification required.
