My client are a leading global telecommunications company and are looking for an experienced DBA SQL Administrator for ongoing contract work in Madrid, Spain.
Your role as DBA SQL Administrator will be to:
- Provide design, support and administrator of SQL Server from releases
- Develop data back-up systems
- Installing/migrating SQL in clustered environments
- Your role will be involved in capacity, DR and risk management
Essential Requirements:
- Proven SQL DBA Administrator
- Microsoft Cluster
- Familiar with Telefonica environment and tools
- Demonstrable knowledge in SQL database migration from old versions to SQL 2014
- Experience of SSIS, SSRS
- Excellent documentation skills
- Some understanding of VMWare and storage (EMC, replication) technologies would be advantageous
Fluency in Spanish and English is essential!
