My Basingstoke based client are looking for an experienced Senior Tester/Hands on Test Lead to join the team for an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the client in progressing their existing test planning on a complex billing/payments system.
They will be responsible for and must have experience of the full SDLC and have at least 10 years' experience in areas such as System Test, SIT and UAT.
They must have experience of working in structured Project Environments covering Agile and Waterfall and be prepared to mentor junior members of the team.
The client are a medium sized business so looking for the successful candidate to have breadth of experience across the Testing life cycle.
Skills;
- ISITL, ISTQB, BCS/ISEB
- System Test, SIT, UAT
- Agile/Waterfall
- Creating test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts
- Skilled at deriving test requirements, test conditions/cases from various sources
- Produce high quality results and test deliverable in tight timescales
- Good understanding of configuration management processes
- Working understanding of defect management process
- Knowledge/experience of SQL databases
- Automation experience
- Experience of working for a medium sized business in a small/medium sized team
