Description

At Atomi we make awesome online video courses for students. With over 50k students and teachers now using our lessons, we've been growing quick.

As a couple of major projects collide, our front end team needs a little back up to keep up the pace.

The Project:

As part of our re-brand we're refreshing our pre-login website. Our design team is pumping out some great looking stuff, so we're on the hunt for a quality engineer that can use modern tooling to bring it to life quickly and neatly. Project should be 6-8 weeks with the opportunity to continue if we think we think you're a keeper.

  • We'll provide you with some awesome designs and assets in Zeplin to make life easy.
  • Although you'll be largely autonomous, you'll work with our design team to stage the project, set deliverables, ask questions and get regular feedback.
  • You'll use git and operate on your own feature branch and commit regularly.
  • You'll submit pull requests and work with QA to squash any bugs.

About You:

  • You're more than comfortable with modern tooling such as CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, SaSS, Gulp/Grunt and React.
  • You can point us to quality projects you've been involved with and explain the contributions, decisions and compromises you made.
  • You write clean, neat code with maximum use of reusable components.
  • You have well justified opinions on front end frameworks and design patterns.
  • You're worked with modern CI/agile practices before.
  • You like getting sh*t done, shipping fast and iterating.

Nice to haves:

  • You're super easy to work with.
  • You have an eye for design, you're a stickler for alignment and you're just that little bit OCD about shipping sexy products.
  • You've got some quality banter.
