Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Solution Architect. This role is located in Strasbourg/France, working for an IT Service Provider at a client in the Public Sector.
Tasks:
- Participate in Architecture meetings with the service provider;
- Review architecture designs and artefacts and validate them in line with the reference architectures;
- Review and validate process models;
- Review and comment on coding artefacts and validate them against the guidelines;
- Ensure the agreed best practises on solution architectures are followedEstablish guidelines on which standards,best practices and tools to be used in the SDLCExperience as a tester/QC expert in Middleware based solutions (SOA).
Education:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.
Professional experience:
- Minimum 9 years of IT professional experience, of which 5 years experience as a Solution Architect or related discipline (senior software developer/designer)
Professional competencies:
- Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of WebLogic suite 11g;
- Experience with Linux, UNIX or AIX Enterprise environment;
- Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architectures;
- Strong background in systems architecture and relevant technologies, including portal technologies, Middleware technologies, and J2EE;
- Experience in acceptance and validation of implemented solutions against reference design and architectures;
- Strong skills in Service design and monitoring of service performance;
- Good understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and their artefacts/building blocks;
- Significant knowledge and experience is Middleware/SOA technologies;
- Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution;
- Expertise in interoperability standards and methods.
Other requirements:
- Fluent English. French skills are not required;
- Candidate must be eligible for the EU Security Clearance.
This position is offered as a freelance contract or as an employment contract (CDD/CDI).
