Mechanical Design Engineer - Eurocode, UBC, IBC, STAAD, MCC, VFD
Description:
- Engineering Degree with experience in Mechanical/Structural and also understanding Fluid dynamics ( like flow, pressure drop, velocity)
- Should have capability to review/prepare functional specifications, outline drawings and vendor drawings. Experience with Building code like IBC 2012/Euro codes is preferred.
- Mechanical structural design, Structure Building Codes expertise (Eurocode, UBC, IBC)- Structures with experience STAAD Pro/Engineering analysis, tools like Ansys would be advisable.
- Ability perform Design Engineering for Electrical skids, Functional specifications, Vendor evaluation, review of proposal and solving site and field issues.
- Engine control System design, selection of sub system components, specifications, supplier evaluation, interface with other stakeholders for turbine based power plants.
- Preparation of skid engineering for package electrical/electronics control cabin and ability to prepare functional specification, outline drawings, review of vendor quotes, technical evaluation, foundation interface and handling field issues during the operation of the power plant.
- Lead Discipline Engineer with ability to perform Design Engineering for MCC design, VFD design/selection, functional specifications, Vendor evaluation, co-ordination with other interface systems, review of proposal and solving site and field issues.
- Distributed Control system design, selection of various components, functional specification, vendor evaluation, interface with other Electrical and instrumentation system required for a power plant system.
- Experience working in the field of power system interface design between various sub-systems.
- Preparation of cable lists, wire charts and other interface diagrams required for medium to large power systems.
