Description

Our client offers Digital Workplace services to its global footprint of 24 local operating companies spread across the world, with the objective to drive employee productivity and engagement. Part of the portfolio is an advanced Collaboration & Application Development service framework, allowing business entities to design, configure & build individual, re-usable business solutions. The service is of strategic importance as it drives digital transformation and superior business productivity within our client internally as well as in the way how they interacts with (enterprise) customers and partners.

Our client is now looking for an experienced SharePoint/Cloud services consultant who is able to lead the service design/product management role for in the implementation of a well-governed, future proof next generation of hybrid advanced Collaboration/App Development services. Experience in shaping/delivering in the context of an offshore development factory including design & build of enterprise business solutions is an advantage.

As product manager, for the new release to come you will oversee the service framework's life cycle from its inception to launch, define the related governance, and accompany and analyse the adoption phase to draw conclusions for the next release. The Product Managers' decisions are informed by a thorough understanding of the business and customer requirements, a deep insight into the broader industry and market trends as well as a good understanding of the way the products integrate and add value to the wider our client's IT services portfolio.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • +7 years experience in Digital Product Management/service design, preferably in large, multifunctional, multinational enterprises
  • Deep experience in application development on SharePoint/Office 365
  • Strong conceptual skills to pursue a clear product strategy and to continuously assess against demand and business needs
  • Strong communications skill to interact with customers at different seniority levels as well as vendors.
  • Ideally experience in working with Offshore delivery teams
  • Good knowledge of end-to end Software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Good understanding of software delivery methodologies (for. eg Agile Scrum)
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills required to work across the organization

Must have technical/professional qualifications

  • In depth knowledge of enterprise content management, portal, social collaboration, workflow products in large scale corporate companies
  • Good understanding of how above capabilities are Embedded in an enterprise architecture context (eg security, identity management aspects)
  • Microsoft SharePoint , Office 365, service design and Yammer community management experience in a large scale IT Enterprise environment
