Description
A Digital TV vendor are looking to hire an Embedded Linux Engineer with experience working on Set-Top Box or DTV technology.
The Embedded C++/C Linux Engineer will work on Set-Top Box technology used by some of the largest TV Operators and millions of customers.
The following experience is required to apply:
- Embedded Linux C/C++
- Experience working with STB (Set-Top Box) or DTV (Digital TV) products
- Good communication skills and experience working in a collaborative Agile environment
Desirable experience includes (this is not essential):
- Open Embedded/Yocto
- DVB standards
- Webkit browser
- OpenGL ES2 and graphics programming
- knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, PPP, DNS, 802.11, IGMP, UPnP, DLNA
- Digital TV Conditional Access and DRM components, DVB-CA systems (ie Nagra, Conax, Irdeto, Verimatrix)
- software components and drivers across variety of different architectures (ie MIPS, ARM, IA32)
