Description
A digital agency and SaaS platform company headquartered in downtown NYC is in search of a Drupal Technical Lead. This role reports directly to the CEO and responsible for overseeing all technical teams, projects and procedures. This will be a full-time contract role for 6 months with the option for full-time employment after that.Drupal Lead will be responsible for:
- Developing solutions for client-specific requirements
- Developing solutions for our Saas platform and overseeing dev team (own roadmap)
- Developing complex websites based on Drupal 7 & 8 platform, framework-based web applications and e-commerce systems
- Provide Drupal best practices and deployment methodologies for Drupal
- Managing and supporting development team
- Accurate estimating, planing and realization of projects
- Monitoring workflow and process
- Regular communication with clients
- Complete responsibility for the execution of projects
Requirements:
- Expert level of knowledge in software development with Drupal framework
- Extended knowledge in LAMP environment
- Expertise in authoring and customizing Drupal modules
- Experience and good understanding of Views, Panels, Features and Drush
- Extended knowledge in concepts of security and performance optimization
- Experience in XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript Frameworks, fluid grids
- Experience in Agile software development environments
- At least four years of work experience in Drupal
- Excellent English skills written and spoken
- Expertise in scoping project hours and deliver times
- Knowledge of relational model, database design
- Knowledge of deploying websites and applications to AWS
- Knowledge of git, bitbucket, jenkins and other deployment tools
Preferences:
- Security: firewall, cross site scripting, mysql injection, ...
- Unit testing
- Russian language skills will be considered as big plus
Pay Scale:
