Description
IMMEDIATE HIRE for a high-level Solution Architect or experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the Infrastructure team for a 12+ month contract position with potential to extend. Candidates can be located anywhere in Ireland and will lead other architects by creating the high-level architectural designs from an infrastructure standpoint to ensure proper application performance during Data Centre migrations, builds, etc for Enterprise level clients.
Qualified candidates will possess excellent oral and written English skills with proven capability to represent clients at external events including client sessions and meetings with business drivers. In addition, the qualified candidate must be highly technical, having recent hands-on experience with high-level designs, migration strategies, etc., and the ability to work directly with other designers as they translate plans into LLDs.
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for migration strategies, technical governance, and solution design that will support the global program. The Enterprise Architect must interface with program management for client engagements in global locations. In project delivery, the Enterprise Architect will be responsible for data rationalization and detail design.
THIS IS A VERY FAST PACED ENVIRONMENTAL AND REQUIRES INDIVIDUALS TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING! MUST HAVE THICK SKIN AND THE ABILITY TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION WHILE MEETING DEADLINES.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. 5-10 years of Infrastructure Architectural experience, including extensive work with Windows and Linux environments and with a variety of Network equipment (switching, routing, Firewalls, etc.). CV should list project environments.
2. 10 years of Data Centre Infrastructure experience.
3. 10 years Enterprise-level migration projects.
4. 5+ years Enterprise-level migration projects in global programs.
5. Specific accomplishments working directly with project management teams, business drivers, etc., to provide deliverables on time and within budget.
6. 10+ years Enterprise-level software presentation skills and experience delivering reports and documenting progress, analytics, etc.
7. 7+ years recent experience leading in matrixed environments while remaining technically hands on.
EDUCATION
College Degree required or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
