We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate perl developer.We are a company that has just recently formed from or parent company based mainly in North Ohio. We build software mainly for the public services sector. From Document Management to Incident report and tracking.
The technologies that we use are; Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3), Git Hub Enterprise, Catalyst : Runtime (Moose, DBIx::Class), Ubuntu, CentOS, Postgres and Nginx
1. We are looking for a developer that has worked with and has knowledge of legacy perl and Object Oriented Perl. As we are in the process of finishing off migrating to Object Oriented Perl.
2. Has 3-5 Years of solid perl experience mainly in web services and web application development
3. Must be comfortable with SQL, managing replication and writing complex sub queries.
4. Must have knowledge of Command line interface as a lot of our legacy code uses linux commands.
5. Understanding of security in web applications (sql injections etc.)
6. Write good tests, we have a CI tool (Jenkins) that makes sure we have production ready code.
7. This is a remote opportunity, But we are looking for people in the United States only (Authorized to work in the US)

Pay rate: 90-120k usd
