DevOps Specialist, Linux, Puppet, ChefGreat new opportunity for a DevOps Specialist! I'm looking for a DevOps Specialist with excellent knowledge of Linux Infrastructure technologies with a proven background supporting Development Teams in Application Deployment, and experience of working on large scale platforms.
Core Skills required:
* Excellent knowledge of Enterprise flavours of Linux (Redhat, CentOS) and associated technologies.
* A proven background supporting Development teams configuring applications for deployment.
* Experience using configuration management tools Puppet and Chef.
* Shell Scripting capability and a sound understanding of programming.
* Excellent problem solving, server building, troubleshooting and config skills.
The role is based in the West Midlands and will require flexibility to share an on-call rota. This is an excellent opportunity to join on an initial 6 month contract with a strong possibility of further extensions.
