Description
TASKS:
- Gather business requirements and implement those into Murex
- Configure and develop the system Murex
- Create user guides and provide team training/user demos where needed
- Functional-, user acceptance, and performance testing
- Support & improve the system
Generic skills:
- University level education background
- More than 6 years experience with configuration/customisation of Murex Front Office
- In-depth understanding of configuration of the Murex FX and MM FO modules.
- Working in banking/financial projects (support experience is good; project experience is a must)
- Thorough understanding of IT, eg SQL (Sybase), Linux, Shell Scripting, PERL
Functional consultant:
- E-tradepad, Simulation view (Cash, Greeks, volatilities, etc)
- Murex pricing (curve configuration, P&L, Vol, etc.), general configuration (generators, currencies, etc), GOM, data model
Optional:
- MxML exchange
- Datamart
Technical consultant:
- MxML exchange, Pre-trade, DataMart, End-of-day reporting, Murex datamodel, Sybase, Linux, Performance optimization/testing (Sybase/Linux)
Optional:
- Tivoli Workload Scheduler/Autosys scheduling
- Design Murex IT architecture (CPU/Memory/#servers/etc)
- Set-up of maintenance tasks such as Purging & monitoring
Fluent in English, both written as verbally
