Description
Water/Wastewater Project Manager (Sewers, Flooding, Civil, NEC3, IChemE) required for initial 3-6 month contract for large water client based in the Central Belt (Edinburgh & Glasgow)
Our client requires an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager who will play a leading role in the delivery of large portfolios of work such as sewer flooding, water quality projects and capital maintenance. They will work on a diverse and multi-disciplined portfolio, where they will be given the autonomy to work creatively and flexibly within a collaborative team environment
Essential Experience
- Experience of applying the principles of project management and planning to the delivery stages of a project
- A thorough understanding of the statutory Health and Safety regulations including CDM as they apply to the water industry.
- Evidence of implementation of Health and Safety regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of integrated computerised Reporting Systems eg Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P3 and costing systems
- A proven track record in evidence based decision making to determine best scope & deliver results
- UK driving licence and access to a car - the role requires flexibility to travel, along with the ability to work within an 'Agile' environment across sites
Desirable Experience
- A sound understanding of the application of Engineering Forms of contract including NEC/3 and IChemE
