Off Host Architect - Edinburgh - Infrastructure, Off Host, Architect, Wintel, Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Middleware, Banking
An Off Host Architect is required for an initial 3 month contract to be based in Edinburgh. The Off Host Architect will be involved with the design of the Infrastructure supporting a number of banking applications covering following activities.
Skills & Experience
*Developing the infrastructure solution to support the various applications
*Analysing and understanding the Non-functional requirements to help size the infrastructure
*Liaising with the Project Managers and the customer to help complete the infrastructure design.
The person must have experience of application architectures and supporting infrastructure requirements and have been involved in the migration of applications and data as part of a DC migration or other transformation programme.
You will have experience of some or all of the following:
*Wintel
*Solaris
*AIX
*HPUX
*Middleware
Experience of working with large financial clients and 3rd party suppliers desirable.
