Description
Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Chartered Electrical Engineer with experience in project management of offshore wind or similar energy industry projects.
You will need to be a project expert for electrical systems (principally for Offshore Sub-Station)
You will need to have strong knowledge of Switchgears GIS, AIS (LV, MV, HV), Transformers (dry, oil- for LV, MV, HV and Cables (LV, MV, HV, fibre optic, signal cable) Establishing specifications for related electrical equipment and services.
If you are familiar with Offshore transmission substations design and construction and cable 132kV design and installation would put you in good stead for this position,
The role is a contract position for 12 months on a day rate up to £520. You will be based in Swindon.
