SQL Analyst Belfast Contract 11 Months. My client a global leader in their space is in need of a talented and experienced SQL Analyst to join them on a contract basis for 11 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the business as usual Product Cost Model, Rate Calculation Engine and IT Strategic Cost Model and associated reporting tools and processes. The role is an essential part of my client continued progression and maturation of these models to support cost transparency initiatives (strategic costing, total cost of ownership, product pricing, cost benchmarking, etc). The ideal candidate will be responsible for tool development and continuous improvement of capabilities in this space, including engagement with vendors (VMWare's VRealize tool is used for cost modelling, rate calculation and cost recovery), perform activity-based and driver-based costing, and work toward better, more automated methods for measuring and maintaining cost and rate models.
Development experience with Cost Modelling tools such as VMWare VRealise and IT Financial Management (preferred) and/or development experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle, Qlikview is essential.
Working knowledge of SQL for system coding. Experience working with Oracle databases.
