This role is for a Senior PHP Developer who would like to Live in New Zealand and work in New Zealand. This is not a remote role.
As a Senior PHP Developer you’ll be responsible for development of web and mobile solutions. It's important to know that communication and a positive mindset will be key for this role. This role requires a person who is able to liaise with clients face to face, hold workshops, guide junior developers and at the same time be hands-on with development.
You would need to be good in both front end design as well as be a great back end developer. The role would require you to translate design concepts to HTML, building to accessibility requirements and performance testing.
The core requirements for this role :
5+ years as a PHP Developer in a commercial environment
Developing scalable enterprise level solutions
Advanced HTML5/CSS3
Advanced PHP / MySQL
Advanced jQuery / native JavaScript
WordPress integration knowledge
CSS Pre-processor experience (SASS / LESS)
Cross-platform browser testing (PC / Mac / iOS / Android)
Responsive website development
Strong understanding of performance and optimisation techniques
Awareness of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practices
W3C website accessibility standards
Solid Photoshop / Fireworks skills

Objective-C / Java experience
Apache & Ubuntu Linux
Amazon Web Services
Shopify
Foundation, Twitter Bootstrap or similar frameworks
