MS CRM Consultant/Developer
Bury St. Edmunds - £420 pd.
A fantastic opportunity to work with our client based in the Bury St. Edmunds area, paying £420 pd on an initial 3 month contract.
Key areas of responsibility
Delivery of new solutions and upgraded solutions on the Microsoft CRM Dynamics platform
Undertake development activities including planning, estimating, design, creation, testing, data migration, documentation and the release of Microsoft CRM implementations;
Effectively work in 'time-boxed' sprints, with adaptive planning from a prioritised work list, and in a test-driven manner;
Active participation in project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other meetings;
Carry out the development lead function a team of junior developers;
Adhere to, proactively maintain and improve agreed practices, procedures, quality and development standards;
Carry out estimation of effort for development activities;
Carry out timely and effective resolutions to development issues;
Undertake code reviews and ensure procedures are adhered to;
Contribute to customer meetings and workshops and produce checkpoint reports as agreed;
Qualifications and Knowledge
Good class degree in Computing/Information Technology (eg BSc, minimum 2:1) or equivalent;
Good working knowledge of agile software development and test-driven development methodologies;
Strong working knowledge of the MS CRM 2016/15/13/11 SDK and C#;
Good knowledge of application development, using the MS CRM 2016/15/13/11 SDK, C#, SSRS, SSRS;
Knowledge of customising and extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM, in particular plug-ins and workflows;
Good knowledge of business processes;
Good working knowledge of version control methods and software such as Team Foundation Server;
Microsoft Dynamics certification desirable (Microsoft Certified IT Professional);
