My Client are looking for a Workplace business analyst.
Skills & competencies required:
The application analyst specialist requirements:
- In-depth understanding and experience with Windows desktop and Workstation environments.
- Experience as technical staff (sysadmin, developer etc.) is an asset.
- a general understanding of business software architectures based around Windows technology
- Scripting skills (CMD, VBS and PowerShell)
- APP-V 5 knowledge (client features, sequencing)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills (eg the use of process monitor)
- General application packaging skills (MSI)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- The software analyst will communicate in a complex project with business over complex matters.
- Clear, precise and business-orientated communication skills are key to perform the task correctly.
- The communication skills should be in English (FR and/or NL is an asset.)
- Technical skills: usage of virtual machines, application debugging, determining missing components, determining hardware dependencies
Overall SME skills
- Ability (by experience) to create work products: installation documentation which will be used by other teams to create a software package.
- Ability to support Project Managers in the elaboration of the detailed project schedules
- Able to work in a structured approach.
