Financial Analyst/Planner

A Leading consultancy and financial service are looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst.

We are looking for a high calibre individual able to operate confidently with Senior Finance and Business management individuals and show leadership to the broader Financial Planning & Analysis community within EMEA.

Key responsibilities

*Communication and messaging of performance to worldwide FPA team. Own the completion of the monthly finance deck (due WD6) together with supporting bridges and schedules
*Own the end to end Flash and budget processes and submissions for EMEA. Plan requirements and provide analytics as necessary to ensure the Flash is fully tied out and interlocked with GBU teams and fully supported by robust Sub Region plans and actions to deliver the commitments
*Own direct expense forecasts and modelling. Work with HR and leveraged delivery teams to ensure headcount, RCOW, and CCOW are accurately forecast and interlocked
*Support the preparation of the budget. Includes AFP process and review, O&O process, communication to sub regions, creating targets for sub regions, ensuring tie out to worldwide targets and restatement of prior year results to enable year over year comparisons
*Lead, coach and optimize the teamwork of the EMEA FP&A team
*Key contact point with both worldwide and sub region teams
*Attendance of contingency calls and asset impairment reviews (owned by controllership) to ensure potential impacts are understood and incorporated appropriately in the EMEA Flash/actual results
*Ad hoc project work, both within EMEA and also as part of WW teams
*Continually challenge processes and requirements in the FPA teams to drive efficiency and improvements in performance. Look to deliver requirements centrally and reduce the demands on sub region finance teams
*Coach and mentor the team to be financial management consultants and trusted advisors to the business

Key Customers & Contacts:
Worldwide ES FP&A, ES EMEA CFO, EMEA Business Operations, EMEA Sales Finance, ES Sub Region Finance Directors and FP&A teams, EMEA GBU Delivery Finance and EMEA Controllership.

Individual Profile:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), typically with 5+ years post-qualification experience
*Educated to degree level, ideally with a focus in business or economics
*Excellent planning and organization skills
*Able to work in a complex and changing environment and deliver to very tight deadlines and short notice requests
*Excellent communication (written and presentational)
*Focus on solution oriented decision making.
*Provide business consulting and decision support to EMEA finance teams.
*Trusted advisor of the EMEA Finance VP.
*Comfortable working with cross cultural teams.
*Effectively sharing information between different teams in order to stay aligned
*Experience of IT services an advantage
