Modelling and Simulation Engineers, Matlab, Simulink
Two Modelling and Simulation Engineers with Matlab and Simulink is required to work on a six month contract (WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION) for our Engineering client based in Bristol
This is an opportunity to work on Flight Controls and Landing Gear projects in the Aerospace Sector.
Overview of the Modelling and Simulation contract
Our client has been supplying high calibre, independent and impartial technical engineering services to the aerospace market for nearly 30 years. These services are provided to platform manufacturers for new aircraft design plus modification and conversion programmes. Our client has worked on over 70 different aircraft types and has played key roles in many of the major aircraft development programmes.
We are now seeking to recruit multiple Engineers to support upcoming programmes of work.
You will be working within a team responsible for producing an integrated systems model (ISM) for the flight control and landing gear control systems for a new aircraft.
Key skills required for the Modelling and Simulation contract
- A relevant engineering degree.
- A competent user of Matlab/Simulink.
- A proven ability to derive mathematical models of physical systems from fundamental engineering principles.
- Ability to reverse engineer models from a defined architecture.
- Development of models in line with updates to specification.
