Senior Project ManagerOur global pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced consultant to support a new build project in China. They are looking for someone with experience of having sole responsibility for a new build project, full life cycle, to whom they can entrust the construction of this facility.
Location: Shanghai
Project Duration: 2 years
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the construction of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility including manufacturing building, laboratories, utilities and refurbishment of offices.
- Manage a team of internal staff at c. 25 people across all project disciplines.
- Set project Execution Strategy, take responsibility for delivery of the strategy
- Drive project timelines and ensure delivery within strict deadlines.
- Oversee, manage and drive results from the engineering company who is partnering the client for delivery of this project including all design phases and construction.
- Ensure GMP compliance throughout the project.
- Provide regular and precise reporting to steering committee and site management.
Requirements
- Project management experience of a new-build construction, including a manufacturing building within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience of project and budget management upward of €50 million.
- Full project life cycle experience including strategy, planning, construction, execution and C&Q.
- Previous experience in the AsiaPac region desirable.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills required.
