Risk Assurance Manager
The Risk Assurance Manager will be based with a leading financial services company in Edinburgh on an initial contract length of 3 months. Although the initial contract is for 3 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is £200 - £250 a day, the client has confirmed there is currently no flexible on the rate unfortunately. They are looking for the right Risk Assurance Manager pretty urgently and ideally are looking for a candidate with notice period of 1 month or less, but it is negotiable.

The client ideally likes to keep hold of good contractors, and has quite a high potential to move on to future projects if you have proven yourself as a reliable contractor.
The responsibilities of the Risk Assurance Manager will be to support preparation of a detailed Risk Assurance Plan for designated areas or processes taking a risk based approach and support review of the appropriateness of the Plan on an ongoing basis, especially in light of external and business developments.
Some of the core characteristics that the successful Risk Assurance Manager will possess are strong experience working with Risk Assurance, great team leader skills, and experience building. Some of the desirable skills that the client has listed are educated to degree standard or equivalent, along with possessing a Recognised CII qualification or equivalent risk or accounting professional qualification
