SAP PP/QM Roles -

Location -Galway, Ireland
Start date - 22nd August
Length of contract - 2 years

Some travel - Russia - Hypercare etc

Skills - SAP PP/QM - more Production Planning (PP) - MMI experience lovely plus
6-8yrs experience
Project - SAP PP implementation - imple of a new Manufacturing facility
Greenfield application to transfer the Manufacturing capabilities into a new manu site (Russia)
Need someone to do config, development for implementation
Go live is next March

JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and implement integrated process and business system initiatives. Communicate with functional areas and define business requirements related to technology. Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures, which are cost effective and meet user requirements. Facilitate process development and improvement activities.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Plan, develop, and implement new concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the applicable group.
*Work independently with end-users and business partners to assess the business customer requirements, match these requirements to objectives and guide them to the applicable processes and products including developing specifications and enhancements that will achieve the customers and business goals.
*Manage the expectations of the customer (ie balance their needs with wants and educate as appropriate).
*Develop solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives and tested appropiately.
*Market and communicate program vision to project teams, key business stakeholders, and executive leadership. Ensure continued business sponsorship, engagement, and commitment.
*Create project plans including timelines and milestones and track progress; inspire teamwork and responsibility across project teams; hold teams accountable to schedules, budgets, and scope.
*Communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
*Ensure proper validation documentation is created for all projects (ie System Development Validation Life Cycle Methodology (SDVLC).
*Provide detailed functional knowledge and maintain insight to current industry best practices and how they can be applied to the company
*Serve as a subject matter expert to other IT groups.
*Ensure that the systems and the information on them are protected in accordance with the Information Protection Policies and Standards, as well as best Information Protection practices.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

*Degree level qualification, with 6-8 years SAP Experience in the areas of PP,MM,QM,PM.
*Strong understanding of manufacturing and production activities in GMP regulated industry
*Detailed knowledge of SAP system methodologies and integration with modules to enable assessment of changes and potential impacts to other SAP modules.
*Relevant experience in implementation of new SAP functionality.
*Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure tools, technologies, concepts and nomenclature.
*Detailed knowledge of system methodologies.
*Experience in a medical manufacturing industry would be advantageous
