Skills and experience:
- Knowledge in the following:
- XSD design
- WSDL design
- SOA & service design & architecture
- ETL & ESB platforms
- General concepts
- Service design of services on ESB & ETL platforms
- Coaching & training skills
- Experience of minimum 5 - 10 years with projects in SOA context
- Knowledge of Webmethods ESB & Powercenter platform
Description of work:
- Helping the SOA pilot programs in designing services:
- Delivery of best practices, guidelines of service design
- Coaching and training of service designers on the SOA pilot programs
- Creating the definition of the service designer role
- Define service design standards, guidelines and best practices in order to help create service designs:
- XSD definition
- WSDL definition
- Service versioning guidelines (on interface & implementation level)
- Flexibility mechanisms in XSD definitions
- Service implementation patterns (in cooperation with the technical experts)
- Coaching & training of service designers in SOA pilot programs
- Definition of role of service designer
