SAP Application Admin

My client is currently seeking for a SAP Application Admin to work on a long term contract in Brussels, Belgium.

As a SAP Application Admin, you will be required to have be skilled within the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in managing an application using SAP Basis and SAP SolMan
  • Experience with SAP Process Integration (monitoring of SAP PI + interface development), SOAP over JMS and XML is an asset;
  • Knowledge about SAP Banking Services is an asset
  • Experience in banking (payments and cash management) is an asset
  • An excellent written and spoken knowledge of English

As a SAP Application Admin, you will be required to do the following:

  • Responsible for the development, improvement, performance and maintenance
  • Giving technical support and communicating the required information to all stakeholders (related parties, designer, programmer
  • Ensuring continuity and cohesion in the maintenance of the applications under your responsibility. This covers among others: the resolution of incidents, Application LCM and Release;
  • Giving advice for new projects. This covers solution proposals, workload estimations, integration of solutions in the process of maintenance and releases;
  • Documentation and knowledge management: ensuring that the applicative documentation is up to date; making sure that sufficient knowledge of the application is available in the team;
  • Change acceptance: as application administrator, you are responsible for accepting changes to your application that were executed by the project team. You assess the maturity of the projects and its release deliverable.
