Web Product Engineer
One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking an Web Product Engineer to join their multinational team in a progressive environment, using cutting-edge technologies for an exciting, well-paying and 12-24 months contract in Poland.
As an Web Product Engineer, you will be required to be experienced within the following:
* Expert knowledge with WebSphere App Server, HIS
* Good knowledge with Tomcat and Apache
* Good knowledge of Shell-Scripting and tools (Shell, Ant, JIRA, Confluence)
* Good knowledge of Unix (RHEL, Solaris x86/SPARC)
* Good knowledge in SSL, certificate handling and PKI
* Good interpersonal skills the role involves coordinating activities with resources and communicating clearly to SME's and Application developers.
* Working knowledge of IT infrastructure including virtualisations and Storage concepts.
* Understanding of Java
* Degree level education
Primary responsibilities:
* Provide in depth knowledge for installing, configuring and operating WebSphere App Server and Tomcat
. Configuration of all security aspects of a web container or web server
. Provide support for application integration into the web platform eco system
. Create and maintain Shell Scripts and Ant scripts for automating platform setup and application deployment
. Raise and track product defects with the vendor (IBM, RedHat)
. Provide support for tracing and analysing defective applications ( in development and test)
* Suggest changes for enhancement to the tools, workflow, process and reporting.
