An exciting opportunity is available for a SYBASE Database Administrator with experience in the finance sector.
This position is located in the historic city of Luxemburg working for a Major European Financial Institution.
Our client has recently upgraded Sybase version 12 to 15 and is working on a project to develop a methodology for patching.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- SYBASE DBA with knowledge in SYBASE ASE and SYBASE IQ
- Autonomous worker able to work in a team
- Fluent English mandatory. French language would be an asset
- Professional experience in the finance sector would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of Linux and Linux Scripting would be an advantage
This assignment is offered for a long term full time freelance contract (initially 1 year) with possible extensions afterwards.
