Job Title: Senior Digital Content Marketing Manager

The Maximum Pay Rate to candidate: £240.00 per day

Location: Outer London: Trafalgar House

Contract Length: ASAP - 30/01/17

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for the strategic planning, team management, delivery and evaluation of all marketing and communications activity across Client (digital and offline). The role responsibilities include developing and managing Client's marketing & comms campaigns to drive Client business, customer & channel strategy. The role will provide specialist professional skills to support delivery corporate objectives including; further digitisation of Client services and uptake of digital services. The role will also be responsible for raising the profile of marketing & communications and its value in helping to maximise business opportunities cost effectively.

The role will require collaboration internally (channel and product) as well as externally with external partners & stakeholders eg BIS and GDS.

Background:

Client is at the forefront of the transformation of government digital services and needs to drive uptake of its digital services through effective marketing (digital and offline). Client also has a portfolio of existing services which requires appropriate marketing to ensure take-up, conversion and usage to enable Client to meet its business objectives. This role is critical to deliver innovative, inspiring & compelling campaigns to enable Client to meet its business objectives and to ensure that all marketing activity is aligned and consistent across all relevant channels.

Essential Experience:

Digital marketing and/or marketing experience.

Campaign creation (including writing), delivery, measurement.

Knowledge of marketing best practice (including digital).

Excellent understanding of current digital (including social) technologies, production tools and analytical tools, and a keen interest in emerging technologies (including mobile and other devices).

Knowledge & understanding of underlying technologies & associated accessibility considerations.

Experience in the development and implementation of digital and social media brand strategy.

Experience of digital & social communication planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, digital evaluation techniques and a proven track record of delivery.

Experience of appointing and contract managing external suppliers.

Budget management.

Leadership and stakeholder management.

Corporate experience & managing internal stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

Financial capability - ability to forecast, P&L management, marketing evaluation.

Experience of cross-functional working to deliver effective, integrated campaigns.

Use of analytics, research and insight to drive improvement.

Experience of writing research briefs to commission research for campaign impact.
