The Company
Our Cornwall based client is currently expanding its financial and IT services team to maintain budgetary control within the organisation. They Seek an experienced Accountant to manage the financial aspect of the business, with experience within an IT environment.
The Role
Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant based in Cornwall or surrounding areas, with previous experience within a financial background. This will include experience predominantly working alongside Business reporting managers to ensure a co-ordinated delivery of financial support is maintained. The successful candidate will also be required to:
*Contribute to the overall delivery for client services of financial reports, ensuring accurate budgets are submitted within the time scale.
*Work alongside client services to identify, quantify and report significant financial problems and/or weaknesses through to service accountants
*Attending senior leadership and management team meetings to give advice as required on financial management
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in the following:
*Demonstrable experience of high level and detailed medium term financial forecasting and budgeting
*Previous experience of software packages and demonstrable knowledge of IT Literacy
*Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of staff and client officers. This includes strong personal communication skills both verbal and written
*Previous experience working within a financial/IT environment
*To provide and/or analyse transactional date from our finance system (Oracle ERP)
Other requirements:
*Senior AAT or part CCAB Qualified with significant experience
*Good level of adaptability and flexibility, with an eagerness to learn and adapt to change
