Job role
Professional solution architect lead in the IT department with an emphasis on GIS
Provide technical leadership across the IT department from VIP to user level.
Maintain a strategic overview
Create and maintain relationships with CIO/Enterprise Architect/Tech leads/Programme and Project Managers/Assistant Directors and Heads of.
Duties
You must have previous experience working within a solution architect role, leading a technical team to support business transformational change around the use of GIS.
Experience
GIS Systems and integration with other solutions
Understanding of GIS data integration with BI
PRINCE2
Stakeholder management
Contribute towards best practice use of GIS across business domains and transition the users to new practices
Ability to document and produce high level and low level design
Ability to look at complex technical landscapes and recommend key business focused solutions
Provide expert advice on legislation, policies and procedures relating to the GIS service consumption
