Job title: On-site Technical Support (OTS) Engineer

Description

Work environment: Network Services Delivery, field activities, reporting to OTS Field Engineer Team Lead.

Goal: First line preventive an corrective Field maintenance of mobile network with 24/7 stand-by support.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Re-active restore services according to the SLAs (Service Level Agreement) on the mobile network, being RAN and TRX.
  • Pro-active perform preventive maintenance on mobile network (checklist completion and small corrective actions).
  • Support all departments (Orange Network Services Delivery) with on-site support activities to meet the customer SLAs and KPIs.
  • Integrate, Commision and Accept new sites and network elements.
  • Support in upgrading and optimizing the existing network.
  • Inspect and accept work performed by subcontractors.
  • Perform drive tests and analyze the results.
  • Perform RF measurements with spectrum analyzer
  • Rigging (climbing) in pylons and buildings to reach network elements.
  • Take care of his own and co-workers' health and safety. Follow the given instructions on the use of correct materials, equipment and ppe's. Informing the employer and the EH&S department on possible risks.
  • Update tickets and network databases with implemented activities and improvements.
  • Work during flexible hours with regular stand-by support on 24/7 basis.

Your main challenges will be:

  • Work within a Team responsible on a 24/7 basis to maintain the mobile network.
  • Is fully accountable for the re-active and the pro-active maintenance of the mobile network to ensure the full availability of the mobile network.
  • Analyzes and performs autonomous field tests in order to optimize the network and safeguard and improve its quality.
  • Support all departments (Oraneg Network Services Delivery) with on site support activities to meet the customer SLAs and KPIs.
  • NEED Climbing Certificate
  • NEED Elexctricle certificate

Location: France (Must speak French)

Mobility: All over France (divided in sub-regions)

Level and grade: depending on experience level
