For our client, a globally active firm headquartered in CH - Zürich, we are looking to staff a Senior Test Engineer to start on 01 Sep, 2016
Job Description
* Demonstrated skills in all areas of Quality Assurance testing from integration through to performance and scalability
* Have a proven track record of working in a Quality Assurance team and have a passion for learning new technologies and techniques
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with QA Leads and define and implement innovative and original ideas on behalf of the Test Lead
Must Haves
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years of QA test and process experience working in teams and individual tester capacity
* 3+ years of proven experience as QA lead, developing QA and test strategies and schedules, as well as leading the work of other team members in large test efforts
(including, but not limited to, functional, system, integration, and regression testing)
* 1+ year exposure to client pursuit and proposal development in a supporting capacity
* Strong knowledge of Mercury Quality Center, TestDirector, Quick Test Professional, Load Runner, HP ALM or other comparable tools
* Past success in quantitative and qualitative analysis of test results, defect resolution trends and application readiness, for executive level reports and presentations.
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills;
* verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills
* Highly adaptable to different project environments with a large degree of ambiguity and change
* A team player with a track record for meeting strict deadlines
* Highly presentable and professional
* Familiar with project management methodology
* very good english skills (e.g. native speaker)
Nice to Haves
* German language skills are benefical
