Description

A publishing house based in London are looking for an IBM Sterling Integrator.

The role:

  • Assist in-house team with developing business processes and maps using Sterling Integrator to facilitate processing of EDI messages between our trading partners and SAP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring experience and expertise into the team on integration between SAP and Sterling Integrator, connectivity configuration and processing of inbound and outbound messages.

  • Design and develop new business processes to enable translation and routing of EDI messages to SAP system catering for appropriate error handling and notification.

  • Create maps to translate from various incoming message standards including Edifact and Tradacom into IDocs.

  • Create maps to translate from IDocs to outbound messages using various message standards including Edifact and Tradacom.

  • Assist in migrating and testing with trading partners to new processes to ensure smooth transition and minimise disruption to the supply chain.

  • Assist with setting up SAP Routes.

  • Configuring an outbound mailbox within Sterling Integrator.

Experience:

Essential

  • Experience with Tradacom/Edifact EDI transactions and the Order-to-Cash cycle.
  • Experience using IBM B2B Sterling Integrator/Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) to transform EDI payload data to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Experience with GXS VAN service to define trading partner relationships and testing connectivity.
  • Experience with mapping documents into SAP IDoc.
  • Experience with SAP ALE IDocs

Desired

  • Publishing or distribution background with a good understanding of workflow/processes and customer supply chain processes.
