Harvey Nash's client in Edinburgh urgently requires a Communications Manager to join them on an initial 3 month contract. You will be joining an existing team to manage all internal and external communications within the department.

You will be providing communications leadership, advice and management across the team, focusing on:

. Creating and managing a broad range of communications activity
. Stakeholder engagement
. Developing the key messages to promote and support activities
. Improving web presence and managing external web development organisations
. Reporting on performance measurement
. Budget management

Essential Skills:

. Experience of Communications Management in Public Sector
. Strong internal and external communications skills
. Skilled in managing both traditional and new media to engage audiences
. Proven experience advising senior team members on communications matters
. Skilled in creating social media and digital activity to increase awareness
. Experience in managing budgets and leading small communications teams
. Able to translate complex material into coherent content for media channels, strong analytical skills
